californiaaaaaa!

we were in california last week and it was wonderful! i thought i'd share a few things i learned..

1. 70 degrees with a breeze beats triple digits any day..
2. my family can spend 7 solid days together and still smile. i'd say i'm beyond blessed
3. winding california roads do not go well with my stomach
4. watching the ocean really is one of my ultimate favorite things... peaceful.
5. san francisco is the best place in the world to people watch
6. when i perfect my michael jackson dancing skills, fisherman's wharf will be my stage. there's high compentition though.. gotta compete with the best.
7. there really are places where you get out of the airplane onto the tarmac-- that's not just movies. santa anna, califoria is one of them.
8. i admire authors. the way they can create a story that has me completely wrapped in another world fascinates me.
9. i love to read
10. my children are going to hate me. and my camera.
11. my sister is really funny. and my polar opposite. and a heavy packer :)
12. running up san francisco hills and pushing a small car is a killer workout
13. laughing about running up san francisco hills was worth the whole trip
14. i am an adult (?)
15. the golden gate bridge is a phenonemal structure
