{the story}
Russell asked me well in advance to go on a date on Friday (my 2nd day of Christmas break in dallas) to the arboretum (where i'd wanted to go since fall), then to one of my favorite restaurants for a relaxed burger and end the afternoon with a movie. sounded perfect and i thought nothing of it! However, once we got there, the afternoon was anything but expected.
("are you serious?")

(i may or may not have have taken off my right glove instead of my left one when he asked if i wanted to wear the ring.... )
(happy.)All these photos are courtesy of Russell's friend Alan who was hiding in the bushes and took 150+ pictures to document to whole thing! Afterwards, we went to Twisted Root for dinner. He began confessing to me all the lies he's told and we started let it all start to sink in. (y'all, he'd been planning this surprise for over 2 months. i'm SUCH a lucky girl.). when we turned onto my street after dinner, he confessed that there was one more surprise and all of our friends and family were waiting to celebrate with us! i could not be more excited! he thought of everything!!
so, in addition to one more semester of classes in College Station, we're also planning a wedding! maybe that will motivate me to update more frequently. here's the progress as of now:
